Carlo's Reflecting on itec 830

Dr. Foreman invited guest speaker, Graham Glass, in order to illustrate the intricacies of the psychology of technology i.e. cognitivism, constructivism and behaviorism. The guest and Owner of world wide web domain name http://www.edu20.org, Graham Glass, presented the class with the benefits and theoretical future of his non-profit organization, dedicated to inspire e-learning via academia channels. Mr. Glass demonstrated the importance of consolidating learning needs from a broad scope into a neatly netted website, expediting the efforts of users who may be signing, tediously, into and out of, other websites refreshing into signing up for a single website, in order to engage in one interactive learning community. This enables the global community to share their works on his website. Our class was presented with many behaviorism examples. Although, Mr. Glass emphasized the importance of connectivism. In other words, "The pipe is more important than the content within the pipe." (Siemens 2005). Mr. Glass stated that he is interested in compiling more content to be evaluated by independent users, but is consolidating channels by which to enhance his website. By visiting his website, teaching and learning appears to be success, and growing, for those who may find his organization and website helpful. In his helpfulness, he is faced with the challenges of organizing his ideas with his resources, for which is preparing a well planned venture business proposal.

I appreciate your making the connection of Mr. Glass' product being the pipe described by Seimens. I'd not considered that this was what the edu2.0 website did, but you're right.
